“Brogueing”originated in Scotland where the highlanders punched holes in the upper leather to let water drain out and has since become ubiquitous as a decoration on smart casual shoes. The Trafalgar brogue is a Derby pattern and as such the facings lie over the vamp. This gives the shoe more flexibility and tends to be particularly comfortable for feet with high arches.
The Trafalgar Brogue is a classic rendition of the marque, in rich brown suede. A stylish look when the order of the day is smart, yet casual.
